Initial Clinical Consultation

Free

A 20-minute phone or video call to talk through your concerns, answer your questions, and agree on the best next steps. Depending on your child’s needs and presentation, I may suggest a screening or comprehensive assessment.

Comprehensive Assessment

£150

This includes a combination of the above, plus a 45 minute observation (home or school) or a more in-depth formal assessment, depending on your child’s needs and preferences. Verbal feedback will be provided.

I aim to be upfront about costs so there are no surprises.

Screening Assessment

£75

Best for less complex presentations, this includes one of: short speech assessment; short language assessment; caregiver and/or child questionnaire. Verbal feedback will be provided.

Screening Report

£75

A short written report (1-2 pages) based on my findings from the screening assessment, including suggested next steps.

Please note that these reports are not suitable for use at EHCP panels or tribunals.

Comprehensive Report

£150

A longer report (2-5 pages) based on my findings from the comprehensive assessment, including targets and recommendations.

Therapy Sessions

£75 / hour

These are delivered at home, in school, or online. Session length is agreed based on your child’s age and needs. This cost covers session prep, materials, and a post-session update if appropriate.

Block of Sessions

£65 / hour

Booking a block of sessions gives you a small saving and helps us build consistency, which is important for progress. Blocks are non-refundable. Sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice. Only available to families; not applicable to school contracts.

Training

I offer training to schools in the following approaches and interventions:

Universal strategies for speech, language and communication (SLCN)
DLD awareness
Supporting pupils with speech sound difficulties
Introduction to neurodiversity
Colourful Semantics
Gestalt language processing
Social scenarios
Vocabulary building

This cost covers session prep and materials, and is dependent on number of delegates and duration. If the training you need isn’t listed, please get in touch, as I may still be able to help.

Travel

45p / mile

Travel within Rossendale is included; mileage beyond that is charged at 45p per mile.
