Hi, I’m Charley!

 

I’m a neurodivergent speech and language therapist based in Rossendale, with over a decade’s experience working with children, young people and adults with communication needs. I am registered with the HCPC, RCSLT and have an enhanced DBS. I trained at the University of Manchester and graduated in 2021. Since then, I’ve worked across mainstream and specialist primary and secondary settings.

 

I specialise in speech sound disorders and have extensive experience providing support for children with complex and persistent speech difficulties. I also support autistic children, AAC users, and children with and language delays/disorders.

 

I take a neuroaffirming, strengths based approach in my practice, and my sessions are always child-led and often play-based.

 

In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, researching my interests (penguins!), and spending time with my family - including my three cats.
